Antonia Noble - Chambers

I’ve been practicing as a barrister for 25 years, in a career that’s seen me work in London at the criminal bar, undertake civil litigation and immigration tribunal work, and work at the Criminal Cases Review Commission for 10 years. I still practice today and am available to be instructed directly via the Direct/Public Access Scheme.

My career as a barrister

During my 25 years as a barrister, I’ve not only developed a deep understanding of the law, but the ability to process and present information logically and clearly. What’s more, it’s what I’m passionate about. I care deeply about justice, fairness and liberty and love nothing more than helping individuals and organisations find their voice and reach better outcomes.

Throughout my career I’ve dealt extensively with the police and all courts, from magistrates to Crown Court and the Court of Appeal, across a wide range of issues, including meeting with defendants in cells, dealing with those in custody, and people facing deportation due to immigration matters. I have extensive experience of dealing with Judges and court officials; dealing with public sector; the church commissioners and private clients.

I have extensive experience of drafting a wide range of documents, including contracts and those required for appeal processes. I have also investigated the police and other public sector organisations while reviewing suspected miscarriages of justice with the Criminal Cases Review Commission.

This long and varied career has given me an insight into a wide range of issues and a deep understanding of our court system, not least the people and organisations working within it.

With extensive experience working in various areas of law, including criminal, employment, human rights, litigation, and data protection, my practice today focuses on data protection, commercial and employment law.

I also have experience across a number of other public sector bodies:
