Carter Noble Independent Safeguarding was set up for various reasons: one was to find new and better ways of working and, where appropriate and possible, differently. Part of this is putting the needs of our clients and customers at the heart of the services we provide.

This can be (and sometimes is) at a cost to us – but the long term benefits for everyone are well worth it. So, when we see something like this which, on the face of it, is simple to fix and which has the vocal support of the highest courts, the judiciary, MPs and domestic violence groups we felt we needed to share it with you all.

There is also a broader issue which goes beyond that mentioned in the article and includes a lack of facilities within family courts to keep victims and perpetrators apart. Of course this is not without costs to central funds but surely it must be right to address the issue now?
